i get all my parts from subaru but they can be hella pricey. try checkers, napa, or redline. u should try replace it yourself if u have the tools and knowledge it's not that hard, depending on which axle. or maybe someone here could do it for some beer and poke.

NAPA don't have $hit....I went to Larry's on Waialae and nothing. The female that works there told me over the phone that the 2.5 motor was a SOHC. I told her no, I had the 2.5 turbo. She got pissed I guess and just told me they don't carry it. No "bye" or "sorry" just hung up. What the effff..

OEM are usually better quality than NAPA brands? I know when I had my DSM I was replacing every few months with "X" name brands cause they never lasted. Bought oem and was good for few years..

Are CV boots that hard to find? (I haven't tried for our cars yet, that's why I was asking)

 

^ IIRC, I did order a CV Boot from NAPA for my 2.0L 5MT a while back. I fixed my passenger side CV boot; now I think my driver's side tore.

I checked up of a complete CV Halfshaft at NAPA the other day, and apparently they do not have a listing. It's odd that NAPA Mililani can get the STi 6MT halfshafts..

I tried Waipahu, maybe I should try calling Mililani.

I don't mind saving some money for a refurb. with a core charge.
