Recon I don't need no stinkin recon.... I went through that BS and will not do it again although all I have is exhaust and sidemarkers nothing really to much to worry about and hopefully this willbe my last safety check.....

Basically if you modify your car, you are required to get it certified by a recon inspector so that you can get a "reconstruction" sticker and paperwork so that it's verified street legal. You're supposed to have this paperwork when you go in for a safety inspection. That station is at Kapahulu across foodland, it only costs $15 but from what people tell me it's only open from like 1pm and there's always a line. Also, you're at the mercy of the inspectors so if they're having a bad day...
