I was insured, but only liability. The car is mine, so I don't need to buy it back from anyone yet. I have to see if the guy who I hit is going to cough the money up to repair the car. The car is for sure totalled as it is only worth $2,500 retail. To be honest I just wish it was the STi.
Looks like a good excuse to slap on a Silvia front end. Damage doesn't look that bad. The fenders still line up with the doors indicating that there was little or no deformation behind the front wheels.
