taking off the sway bars is a good practice. you can corner balance without doing it, but its easier and quicker if you do.

are you doing this for auto-x?

i would have thought it would be better to corner balance with everything installed such as the sway bars....have everything complete then make the adjustment...

kind of like doing trying to do an alignment without an engine installed....

this would be interesting to see what kind of difference it would feel for both setups....

things to ponder and learn

I think what is needed (aside from "search") is for someone (with knowledge/experience) to step up and do a "How To" check sheet.

Documenting:
1) What to ask for (as far as services from a shop)
2) What to do in preparation
--- How to compensate for the drivers weight when doing this
--- Do's and Don't's
--- Pitfalls / Problems encountered and how it was addressed
3) What shops (in Hawaii) perform these services

4) Definitions / Explanations of "why" certain things need to be done, and if there are different 'methods' for different 'activities', that should also be documented (i.e.: For just Daily Driving, do this... For Auto-X, do this differently... For drift, do this differently, etc)

There HAS to be someone in all of I-Club, that can lend experience and possibly expertise in this matter.
