is flying RC helicopters! I am totally in love with it. Within the past few years the price of entry level RC heli's finally came within reach for me. I had a few beginner "toy" heli's and I thought they were impossible to fly. Then one night one of my buddies gave me a few pointers, and it finally clicked. Right now I'm flying a Align T-rex 450x, and it's a blast. I love Heli's. Just thought I'd share.

 

Love your screen name! LOL! I use to say that all the time in elementary. Don't know why it was just fun to say. I always wanted to try my hand at heli's but they just kinda intimidate me and I heard that the smaller one's are harder to fly. So I just never tried. But like you said there are a lot of smaller heli's for cheap so I just may give it a go! Have fun!

i wouldn't mind trying. whats the averag intitial startup cost like? i have just ecently kinda gotten back intor/c cars and it's still pretty pricey.

 

RC is an addiction, and an expensive one. My dad has a ton of planes, I've never flown one though. RC cars are expensive enough to get parts for when you crash.

 

i just got into gas truck's. and damn those things are fun..... my t-maxx is sick!!! tho i played that plane game at aloha hobbie and i suck at it so i think i'll stick to land r/c's for now lol

 

Yep, the flight simulator is addictive, and a great tool for learning to fly. The physics are pretty damn close to real life.
