Considering a Tuning Trip in January

I've had several requests for tuning from Hawaii so I'm thinking about making a trip to get some quality tunes to the islands .

December is an option, but things get complicated around the holidays so I think January is more realistic. Lets see who's interested so I can start planning this.

Thanks

Heard good things about you ed. If I can't make the other tune with all the mods I want I will take you up on your tune session. Jermey at crucial spoke the world of you!

Happy to hear my reputation precedes me . If anyone wants to see some of my work search through the vendor review section... there are plenty of happy customers with great results. Also check out my forum on wrxfanatics for a couple special tunes I chose to post up: http://www.wrxfanatics.com/index.php?showforum=88
And of course, don't forget I tuned the fastest VF39 STI in the country... 11.7 with 115-116mph traps

I hope this doesn't come off as if I'm trying to show off... just giving you guys some references for my work and reputation.

Thanks

I can do the tune next month,AMS and add more stuff onto the leggy if I'm not happy with the power and retune in Jan with Ed. Looks like my would have had 3 tunes in under a year. I'm turning into a tune *****. I need more power arrhharrr (in my best Tim Allen voice).

Sure I can tune Hydra. We currently have one on a customer's track project car with fully built motor and 35R.
What kind of setup do you have and do you have a working base map?

I've tuned several foresters out here... nothing too different about them.

When you say 300whp, what dyno are you talking about? For a Dynojet, a simple TBE setup with a good tune will get you to the 300whp mark. For the lower reading dynos like Mustangs, Dyno Dynamics (unmodified), and my own road dyno software, getting over the 300whp mark with any VF series turbo requires at least 100 octane or water/meth injection. On 91 pump gas, most VF series cars will hit 270-280whp on the lower reading dynos. This is good for 107-108mph traps. On 109 Octane+ I've seen as much as 335whp on my road dyno and these cars run 115-116mph traps.

Thanks

Pricing will depend on the number of cars getting tuned and the dyno price. The complexity of the setup and how long it takes to dial it in perfectly will also affect pricing. The general pricing ranges from $350-500 for the first map and $150-250 for a second map.

Thanks

No, not at all. I'm actually not a big fan of the UTEC. There just no reason to run a piggy back when we have quality reflash solutions.

Would you recomnd adding a pully and a header? I'm running an auto with apv2, pde flex up, cobb dp, greddy cat back and aps intake and zero sports pipe with a tune from Al from dynoflash. Being that I'm an auto is it worth it to do a header and pulley? Will my gains be that great after the tune with thoes addons? Or should I stick with what I got. I was looking at the Cobb pulley or avo and a megan header (non coated or wraped).

The pulley really doesn't offer any significant performance increase, but the header does. You definitely want to at least wrap the header to maintain consistent boost response.
