+1 on Vakamon!
They did a great job on my sport clutch / lightweight flywheel install and steering rack swap.
They answered any questions that I had clearly and honestly.
Very competent people.

I heard that Ryan left Vakamon...is this a true statement? If so, where'd he go?

Thumbs up He didn't leave Vakamon.

Ryan and Davin are reoganizing and remodeling their shop...as Jason above said...it's looking good!

I'm sure Ryan will chime in when it's time...

Alexis car (as built by Ryan/Davin and Tuned by Jarrad)
can be estimated @ ~500+ HP at the Crank (if you calculate a 18% drivetrain loss)

(425 / 82) * 100 = ~518 HP at the Crank... on 92OCT PUMP GAS!!!!

Congratulations, and while the numbers are just simple speculation (i.e.: not rooted in hard facts) I believe we have our 1st 500+ HP (at the crank) Suby in Hawaii (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Congrats, and thanks for the props Alexie. His car is sporting a Crawford Performance 2.7 stroker kit with stock heads, Crawford GT35R turbo kit, and APS FMIC. Jarred tuned it initially with Accessport, then retuned with a UTEC on top of the reflash. Jarred suggested that we use the UTEC in speed-density mode, as the MAF was maxing out the first tune. There should be a lot more power on the table, the numbers Alexie produced are about the limit of what he can make reliably on our 92-octane pump gas. PS, Davin did about 95% of the build on Alexies car.

So the 5% you did was the sexay portion?

BTW I stopped by Vakamon with Ty in March but that was when you weren't there. Without you there, it was like they lost their left nut.

They'll be in their little kei cars thinking "damn, I'm glad I'm not you" at the gas pump...

Actually, I haven't driven it enough yet to determine what the milage is like. Tomorrow I'm going on vacation for a month, so I guess I won't know for awhile...
