Today I was on Staff Duty.

It blew, but fortunately I had Comedy Central to keep me company. I saw Monster Chopper, Monster Home, Monster Garage, The Chapelle Show, Crank Yankers, Being John Malkovich, and the MAN SHOW.

I really should have sprung the extra 20-bucks a month to get upgraded cable. I'm a cheap bastard.

Oops. That was this morning on the Discovery channel. I'd never watched it before, and I get that channel. This morning's episode was "The group of highly unattractive women build a failed derby car and have drama" I wasn't impressed with them, but the format was cool.

Question: Why do these shows try to create drama when none is needed? It seems like all the people they get tried out for parts in "The Real World" before signing on to do the Monster series. Other than that it was great.

 

Yeah, that was the worst episode of Monster Garage EVER. Once the tall "punk" girl started *****ing and the "Mom" lost her diamond I just felt the need to regurge.

MG is usually MUCH better!
