Clear Bra

I'm sorry if this has been posted by someone else before, but I'm wondering if there's anyone on Oahu who carries the clear bra. I've got two chips on the front of my new XT's black paint and it gets me every time I clean. I'd like to protect the rest of the front of my ride. Also wondering if it's installed by the carrier or if you have to do it yourself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i know i seen the clear tape protector on a zo6. i was told it was made with a special 3M tape. the type used behind tires so you don't get rubber marks on your car when u burn out. its connected with water and static or something.

try contacting 3M i think it comes in a big sheet and you cut it your self.

I have it on my STi and got it installed by a guy named Chad Hatfield who owns www.rockblocker.com. The next one I get I will install myself as it is not that hard to install. It is just the large parts that are tricky.

How is the quality? is it relatively visible? how well does it protect?

and as far as Redline, being new here, I don't know much about shops around Oahu. Do they install professionally too?

You can't see it unless you are close to the car (<5ft). I heard that it looks a little yellow on white cars. If you wax your car it is easier to see because of the wax building up on the edge. But you can just wipe it off. You should do a search on this site or on the nasioc site. There is a lot of info on it.
