Children + Turbo = Broken Turbo???

just got the camera from the wife and took pictures of what will traumatize me for the rest of my life. can't identify what that is but it didn't come from the turbo. the turbine wheel looked so normal when i opened it up.

looking at this sh*t gives me the chills and makes me think of the worst things that can happen. glad it didn't.

at first, i thought it was piece of a my hg (cometic multi-layered, EJ20G), but i checked my oil and coolant and they looked fine. besides, it was straight and not round so it couldn't be the hg. it had to be my son's evil doing. once in a while he keeps saying, "i pu'insai daddy's turbo..."
