check engine light ??

well the other day driving to mililani to pick up friends for work and my check engine light comes on...that nite plugged in the code reader and said " #4 misfire cylinder" code is "P0304"...n e ways a friend said could be that since my car is lowered that when hit a pot hole that's could be why...well cleared the code...that was wbout a week ago...n e ways today the light came on again...(DAMM)..i'm thinking it could be the same thing hopefully cuz i did run over some mean pot holes(nimitz i hate you)..well going to find out tommorrow nite if it's the same problem..i was wondering if it is how do i fix it ?..is it fixable ?

any help would be great since i'm a noobie..

I highly doubt that it's due to your car being lowered and you driving on nimitz...

I drive it daily and I have yet to have a CEL that is caused by just driving on bumpy road. let alone nimitz. getting a CEL from being lowered is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.

What you might want to check is if all your coilpack harneses are connected to your coil packs. I just helped a fellow i-clubber out that had that code and other codes relating to misfiring.

and while you're at it if you haven't changed your spark plugs yet you might want to do.that as well.

you cannot change the "WIRES" since we have coilpacks. it is NOTHING like a HONDA.
