could it be an exhaust leak from the flange at the turbo or possibly the oxygen sensor not being tight enough?

HEY that's a common one...check out this website for their CEL fix...http://www.rallyperformance.com/scooby.shtml

These are the guys that are in the Sport Compact Car story and they sell Scooby Sports stuff (rally teams from UK use it).

They have a CEL fix somewhere in there with their DP and UP products.

Did you install a MIL eliminator? If not, I do believe the cel you are getting is CAT inefficiency.

Just do a search on MIL eliminator.

ditto, ditto, and DITTO on the MIL eliminator

If you reset your ECU, the CEL will probably go away for a while. I did that a couple of times, but it would always come back during a longer drive. Bought a mil eliminator and haven't had a problem since.

pde d/p doesnt throw cels.

you probably have a leak big enough to alarm the ecu to throw the cel.

and IIRC 04 wrx's need a different type of "mil eliminator". different from 02/03 WRX's.

fix those leaks, and it should go away within a few start up's.

Justin are you sure that you have a PDE downpipe? If you're getting a CEL from a PDE downpipe that something is not right... Reason being is that the PDE downpipe is gaurenteed to have no CEL from it... The CEL you are probably getting is for your Up pipe which is normal.

I owned a PDE downpipe and unless you completely take off the rear 02 sensor off it's harness you CANNOT get a CEL.

Take it to a dealer and have them run the code.... cost u nothing. they will probably even blank it out for you.

It there anything else in combination with this that you previously had installed like a CAI or somthing?

we should also take a look at that area where he reconnected the hose you could also be having issues there. at those settings I am running at about 16PSI. what are you doing today... hopefully we can get together and I can look at it more thorally.
