check engine light

How do I remedy this? It turned on when I was on the freeway, and I don't see any problems with the engine (from what I can see). Should I get this checked by the dealership? Thanks guys.

If you don't care what it is and just want to get rid of it, disconnect your battery, press your brakes a few times, reconnect the battery and bam it's gone. I'd only recommend going this route if you know what it is for though.

i say buy a tatrix cable, it is one of the best investments I have ever made on my car hands down.

^^I still say go with the tactrix cable

you can use programs like romraider to do data logging, you can also monitor all oem sensors on your car. for example water temp, intake temp, and most importantly you can watch FLKC/IAM to monitor knock. you will have the ability to turn off certain CEL's as you upgrade, all this for 169.00 + down loading all the software for free....oh lets not forget open source tuning.

so as much as I love to see spinplay01 make a $100 bucks. you would be better off with a tactrix cable for the extra $70....sorry Chad
