I still can't see why Ford doesn't take a '69 Mustang Fastback body and drop it over a stretched '03 Cobra chassis. 
Why doesn't Chevy just take the tooling for '69 Camaro bodyparts and section them to fit the latest gen F body? Now even I'd buy one of those! Classic style, modern muscle.
