any one know anything about these hoods? I sorta like the way that it looks...

might be an aluminum base/frame (or some kind of other base/frame) with carbon fiber overlay perhaps?....not pure carbon fiber...just hope that there aren't any imperfections

 

i recommend not getting unknown brand name hoods. my friend got his CF hood from e-bay and guess what?! i doesnt fit properly and the weaves were not even and did not go all the way around the hood. (like 3 different pieces were laid on). no surprise. he got what he paid for.....if you see a 94' riced out civic with unpianted bodykit, m3 fenders, CF altezzas,and a ***ed up hood then thats him......oh and all the parts he bought for his project was from e-bay. cheapo noname brands that dont fit.....maybe i'll take pics of it later haha.

 

I wouldn't trust carbon fiber items from ebay. I once bought a Carbon Fiber hood for my old Civic....they said it was grade A and pure carbon fiber, it wasn't. It was Aluminum based with Carbon fiber lay-over. Also, it didn't look like grade A. I couldn't do nothing because E-bay wouldn't handle my case. Also, would rather spend a little more $$$ and know what Im getting. Learned my leason, that's why I haven't been on Ebay for a while.
