Better pick up your CF stuff. Upwards to 30% raise in raw CF material. It's only likely that the prices will get passed down to the consumer.

EDIT: Even though it's a small dollar price increase in the tonnage level, it is a big percentage increase. Meaning that it will hit the wholesalers, distributers, and parts maker's costs. Inevitably raising the price of the final product to consumers.
Kind of like oil and how it got so pricey because of speculators.

That would make some sense, except for one caveat. There is already a worldwide shortage due to high demand in CF. It started during 2005, lasted through 2007 and still has shortages in 2008 due to the aircraft/military sector.
