So what is the best headset to get? Been rocking the wireless one but was thinking of upgrading to a turtle beach...so which one? Wireless? Wired? Need some input from u gamers...

Keep in mind these things when shopping for one.

1) Wireless headsets will always have more delay than wired ones
2) if you are playing FPS you absolutely must have 5.1 surround sound
3) over ear or on ear? I prefer over ear because it cancels out noise better, so when ur creeping you can hear those distant footsteps
4) MS response time, should be listed somewhere on the spec sheet, you want a low MS obv

 

I want to stay with wireless but ah I'll just get a wired one...can't believe gamestop was only gonna give me $8 for my wireless one...sheesh!

 

I use the turtle beach x41. Works like a charm.

 

Talk bout all sold out...guess I'll settle for the x12 for now...yeah I know they're cheap...lol!

I've had 6 different headsets so far tb x1, x31, x41, Px5, tritton ax720, and astro a40, and to be honest even though the astros were wired, nothing even came closed to it. The sound is clear and crisp, the "boom" isn't as loud as turtle beach. Astro is over the ear while tb is on, tb is pretty crappy built were astro is top notch. At the end of the day astro a40 hands down but its $280 shipped to Hawaii. Oh yeah go wired if not invest in rechargeable batteries

 

Oh yeah best buy has the load of headsets right now, but astros u can only order online
