If you dont understand caster, camber, toe, spring rate, compression dampening, and rebound dampening....you shouldn't be putting coilovers on your car.

Negative camber means the top of your tires leans to the inside of your car. More or less provides the ability to corner harder but since it's a DD fix it. If the alignment place couldn't do it I think you either need camber bolts or camber plates. Tire wear will occur in the inside of your tires.

suspension tuning is a whole different animal when compared to engine tuning.

I'm kind of confused by this whole thing...

OP, you're asking for someone to explain your alignment... What's wrong with your alignment? Is that not those values not what you asked for?

Don't take it personally. Everyone had to learn sometime. None of us were born understanding all of this stuff, it takes time. Though if you ask questions like this on a forum, expect to get some answers like that. But Tesh provided you with a great link, and next time someone asks this question like this you can join in on the fun.

PS: I wish I could afford KW's. Come AutoX now!

They're all correct, but perhaps a nicer way to say it would have been, "You should learn about and make sure you have at least a general understanding of suspension parameters before installing coilovers. It's better than learning AFTER installing."

My 2 cents: you just bought a 2011 WRX. Why not get used to how it runs stock, then start slowly building it? You'll have a greater appreciation for the improvements you're making on your car, plus doing so will provide you a smoother learning curve on a vehicle that is frankly quite powerful and handles differently than many other cars on the road that you may have had experience with.
