Sup all i was wondering if no one was busy and wouldn't mind helping me install my PnP VF30 on an STI tommorrow If your wondering why im puting it on a STi, its because where sending his turbo out to get a PnP from Deadbolt and they also port the waste gate to help prevent boost spikes and boost creep. Thanks all, im pretty sure most of you are pretty but i had to ask.

P.S. If none can help can some one atleast tell me where excatly the crank position and cam posistion sensors are.

Wow he'll have his hands full. When you did your turbo pat did you disconnect the crank position sensor and the cam position sensor then start it to get oil to flow threw the turbo. If so would you know where those sensors are on the block.

 

We did. I know where they are, I just don't think I'd do a very good job describing it. Can you get a hold of ScoobyWagon?

 

Im good now pat i came across this thread on Scoobymods and read more in detail and found out where everything is. I hope everything is about the same on the STi or atleast pretty close.

Thanks Chibby but i was doubting myself, making it fell harder then it really is. I'm good now though. Wait!!! is the STi different in any way ie: crank position sensor and cam position sensor in a different spot on a STi compared to the WRX???

Yes, they are in the same location as the WRX.

If noone is doing anything Fri morning thats when were dropping the turbo in the STi. I We had to postpone till fri since i had family stuff to do first. So if anyone else is intersted LMK it gonna be fri morning in kaneohe. :banana:
