Here's the situation:

I recently uprgrade my UTEC version from 1.0 to 2.3, after doing this my car didn't start, so I changed to the next .mot file and finally it starts, but is running horrible...at idle the car backfires, stutters and wants to die off. So next thing I remove the UTEC, but the car still runs the same without the UTEC...it threw a few CELS so I wanted to find out what they were, maybe it'll give me a better idea of what's wrong.

I bought a generic one from Checkers, but it keeps reading "communication error" , I did a little research and found that some work on Subies and some don't. I tried to drive it a little, but on the way up to boost the car dies and backfires under 2k..so I'm afraid to drive it too far as it may screw something up even further and by the smell it's running really rich

so yeah back to my question, just maybe a half an hour thing, I'll buy lunch, gas, beers or whatever for your time...just want to pull the CELS to see what's wrong or if it can give me an idea of what's wrong.........BTW I live in Waikele
