Oh good god no where near completion.
First i will pay back people i owe money b4 i purchase:
CP pistons
CP Piston rings
2.5 phase I crank
New rod bolts
New rod bearings
New main berings
Subaru gasket set
2.2 head gasket or Cosmetic HG
ARP head studs
2.2 Block studs
New intake manifold gasket
New valve cover gasket
Fuji bond (stuff that holds the to havles together)
Valve cover sealent
Timing Belt
Alt belt
A/C belt
Timing Belt Tensioner
2.2 Oil pump maybe ( missing an oil piston Squirter in cyl#4)
Water pump
PWR radiator
Thats all i can think of right now, i'm pretty sure thats it
Now for things i want:
FP green
stock mod inj.
samco inlet hose
Hydra Nemisis
Valve train upgrade (8500 RPM)
Maybe JUN 268 cams
oh and a Car that will run after all this is done
I say all in about 3 or 4 months tops, wish me luck.

Well you have to have the oil pump to run that engine. You will blow something up without the upgraded oil pump. Also, don't waste your money on an inlet hose, it is worthless and you will see no gains out of it. stock is best, I know from experience on the inlet hose.

I really won't need the oil pump since i will plug up the oil piston squirter holes. But that is a guess i'll ask Quirt tommorrow.
The inlet hose is required since the greens inlet is too big for the stocker unless you have a better solution do share please

Sup Mario,
I have some forged STi rods for sale once I return. It's essential if you want to rev high. I'll sell them dirt cheap for you.
I also have a Perrin inlet hose. If Ed doesn't want it, it will be dirt cheap as well (I had to cut it open slightly to fit over my gt30 compressor inlet). I also have an **** load of Fuji bond at home that you can use.
Also, I've been out of the loop on the 2.2t block. You mentioned that the 2.5 cranks differ in material or did I read wrong? I know the specs are identical regarding size and stoke, but does one bond with oil better than the other? Are the oil galleys different?
If you decide on Jun cams, can you order 272 intakes? I have the 264 intakes and 272 exhaust and I'd like to trade you intake cams. I ordered them to that spec for daily driveability purposes, but I'll just raise the idle and eat cost on gas and live with the noise.
Thanks,
Chris

Well I guess if you plug the oil-squirters you won't need the oil pump. I think a better solution would be to repair the damamged ones. Those things are there for a reason and that thing may get hot very quickly!

Oil piston squirters can not be repaired, they easyly just screw in and out w/ a washer attached. The reason i'm just going to plug them up is the only way i can get one is if i buy a new short block w/ them or unless someone has some laying around. I have been searching and begging for the last month w/ no luck. I called crawford and they tell me they have more blocks then oil piston squiters
So i'm just going to plug them and it really won't affect temps as much as you think according to Crawford. So some good bolts and thread lock will have to do the trick. Just for FYI the 22B had a closed deck w/o piston squiters maybe an upgraded radiator, it was fine

Does the 2.2t crank have oil galleys? I'm guesing that the oil squirters are for flowing oil to the main bearings.(?).
Golden Eagle Mfg. has oil squirters.
Also, doesn't the 22b have a different crank than the ej 2.2t? I'm assuming they have two oil galleys per journal (since the JDM STi cranks have two).

Hmm if you wnat to sell them let me know i should be able to steal them from you
i'll take that inlet hose if ED doesn't want it too. Now for the Fuji bond i plan on putting the short block back together soon so if your here in about a month i can wait if not i won't need it but thatnks. Now the 2.2T is a Pahse I crank which is center thrust crank, the newer phase II cranks are rear thrust. Also the oil galleys are in differnt areas according to Quirt @ Crawford so they cannot be mixxed up.
Now the cams are definately up in the air man if anything i would do the vavle train first then later on do the cams. I'm in USMC not a stock broker :P
If you would like Pics of the oil piston squiters i have some they are huge pics i'll try and post them if that doesn't work just shoot me an email addy.
