Haha. On my way home from the bar, got called out by an older Mustang (early to mid 90's). I passed him by Sears Distribution center going Waipahu bound, and then he comes up next to me. Paces me for a little bit. Turns on his hazards for a little bit. And all the while I'm thinking...........what a dumb ***. Damn, it's been a while since somebody messed with me on the road. Haha, that is all.

 

And doesn't it feel better to be the bigger man and laugh instead of hitting the accelerator I live for it! I get an even harder chuckle when I see them pulled over 3 miles down the road after they tried doing a 90MPH blow-by after I wouldn't engage them

 

Brandon, he prolly thought you were me. When we had the drag strip, there was a mustang club who used to always rev as they drove by me in the pits. I walked over to them, called out one of the guys in a black GT to a race, and shut him down. When he got back to his friends, they all laughed at him and they all left immediately, never to return to the raceway park again. These tools used to cut us off on the freeway every friday and saturday night on the way to the tracks, so just some background history on these guys from K-bay. But mustangs have something to prove on the roads that I can't even count the # of times I've been messed with. This past week a mexican guy in a purple mustang GT maybe 2004 GT was revving and eventually cut me off under nimitz, where everything of course echoes and i got truly irritated. He launches on two traffic lights after they go green, then we pull up to the last one before the freeway entrance. So long story short, I launch a little, and he tries to block me as usual. I am approaching 2nd gear, then 3rd, get over 8 car lenghts ahead, and get in the lane to which he was trying to block me out of. As i slow down to approaching traffic, he pulls up next to me and gives me the finger. I laugh and point at him and his girlfriend slumps and tries to hide in his car. CLASSIC!!!!
YOU JUST GOT BEAT BY A WAGON, FOOL!!!!

Got paced by a RSX last night coming back... stupid ***. I was too tired.

 

omg, every mustang and camero on base tries to race me out the front gate..... I usually give them long enough to think they smoked me and then as they are laughing I blow by them at about 95 on the turn. none of them bother to try catching up

 

hahah damn that all started when we used to drag race, they always used to rev us every chance they got when the passed by us. Pat, Richard, and myself beat them every time we lined up. Needless to say they werent happy campers, if they were still giving you guys grief hahah HMOC or something? dont know, dont care hahahha

I remembered that when I got home. I owe you a 12mm socket........sorry dude. But yes, the suspension feels great! More responsive, and I guess the word I'm looking for is more predictable. I love it! Thanks for all your help man, I couldn't have done it alone......and especially in that short of amount of time!

 

Although i never had the pleasure to see your car or Richard's car (well the original owner anyway, i saw the car run by the guy he sold it to) run the quarter,
i would have loved to see the fastest wagon( gpatmac) go down just once, only cuz I'm sweeter to the wagons. Glad to see the occasional posting of you Wes, and although I have never met you personally, thank you and the boys for the creation of HIIC and the hawaii chapter of I-club. :0 ) Ok bye
