Bye Bye Evo...

First Happy New Year

Well just got back home, my back hurt a little but nothing serious.
I just totalled my car an hour ago.

Was cruising with 3 friends ( they are all fine ) in my car and some others following me with their STi and Evo X.
We were going back to city after a night cruise.

Taking light right curb at around 55mph, 2 coconuts were on the road. My front left wheel hit it and tire blew or lock??? duno lot of white dust from what my friends saw from behind. Car turn directly left and hit center "wall".

Cops said sorry they can't say if coconut was on road or not, so Insurrance is not going to cover it.

Sorry if the resume is bad, I still can't believe i lost my car.

It sucks to loose your baby.

But glad to hear your alright, but I second that... when I totaled my GSR I was fine for the first few days and then was in pain the third day. Once all the shock of losing your car wears off you might feel it too.

That looks pretty bad, I hope you and your friends are all okay. That really sucks that insurance won't cover it, I know how it feels to lose a car that insurance won't take care of...
Like the others said, get yourself checked out. That's the important thing right now.

HxIIxman, since your insurance is not paying you, here is one advice i can give you, just sell the car in parts,in that way you will getting more money for that than selling the whole car.Parts-out my man to get back some money and get a new car hopefully.Good Luck.

Olo,

Sad to see that. Hope you and your friends are ok. Get it checked out at hospital if pain persists after the adrenaline wears off.
Sorry to hear, your Evo was always my favorite at HRP and Vakamon.
Take care, and drive that Clio now, huh.

thanks guys,

We got checkup already at the hospital, and nothing serious just bruise.
Airbag did more damage on both of my front arms... but nothing bad.
So far I don't know what I will do with that car, Just calling my 3 friends who were with me and be sure they are okay.

I was suppose to fully build the Clio for this year... but I think I will sell with the R6...

Also doing a complaint againt the city for leaving coconuts on public road, but I doubt it will end up somewhere.

The cop was their, we didn't pick up the parts that flew all over the road, coconuts were among them. They saw it but said they can't prouve it was the coconuts fault.... so they said they can't report that....

On Monday i'm going to file a complaint against city and cops.
What the hell they are paid for, he didn't want to do a report stating i had an accident and totalled the car on public road.

you know why the cops said that...
guess...
its because of the car you drive...
same seiit happened to me when I got into a accident with a 60 year old man with my Impreza and his Miata. They saw my car and probably was happy to have one less import off the streets, so they took his story against mine when that old fark knows he came over to my lane on that turn. I rarely or never stay on the inside lane going down likelike to town because I hate merging.

Well funny thing, he told me he never saw that car here on the island.

I told him yeah, cause I barely drive it! My car had only 11xxx miles and 5 years old. Most of the miles were from Honolulu 8500miles.
So was hoping he will not put me in the same boat of street racer.
