BRZ Lottery Info @ Waialae Subaru
Since we only have 2 for sale (prem blue 6-spd) & (Limited white Auto) we are doing a lottery system to get the cars.
May 19th we will be qualifying you for the lottery and this will be the only day that we do this. We will only take the first 30 people who are qualified to entry the lottery. We will need to sort out how you plan on paying and also if you have a trade. if you do we will need to see it.
May 26th will be the official release date for our BRZ's you must be present to win and also be ready to take it home that date. if your not ready it will go to the next guy and that's why we are setting up the lottery qualifying date the week before.
Mapunapuna will also do the same thing with there 2 cars. You CANNOT be on the list at both stores this will automatically disqualify you if you try to get better odds over everyone else. We are trying to make this as FAIR as possible.
So if you wanna come out here and see me to get your chance to get a RARE BRZ then call me. we are only predicted to get roughly 20 for the year.

If the white one was a 6 speed I would be camping out right now!
Will there be a lottery for the remaing BRZs that will be coming in later in the year? Or will those be first come first serve?

I would just wait as they are projecting 100k worldwide. The USA is supposed to get 6k in the first year. It will be worth waiting for the improved versions. Plus the used car market will fill up after many buyers realize that they actually have to be skilled to drive this car fast. If that is the case, they should have bought a WRX, STI, or Evo.

I pretty sure you older guys can remember when the 02 WRXs came out. I still remember people waiting in line to buy one at the old Subaru dealership in Waipahu. Yeah theres hype, just like when the EVO, SRT4, GTO, Camaro all came out. Here is what Im afraid of, lets say I get a BRZ. Then 2 or 3 years down the road Subaru comes out with a STI version. Will it be N/A? Will the FR-S offer a TRD Supercharger? Will the BR-Z be the next hyped up sports car to fall short (remember the RSX?). And finally in 2013/2014 the new 2 door hatch WRX will come out on its own platform. Rumors say it will be based on the BR-Z(these are rumors dont quote me). Should I wait 2 more years? Or dare I say it......... get a Ford Focus RS. But I will still head down to Servco to kick the tires on the BR-Z, see ya guys at the lottery.
