Just sent an uncropped version of this timselip scan to the fine folks at Xhift magazine. They put out a dope little full color rag on glossy stock with fly wahines gracing the middle pages on a regular basis... They have a small section in the front (page 4 of the 9/03 issue) where they list timeslip "braggin' rights".

They have Jayson Cramer listed as the fastest Turbo 4 cyl. AWD car (12.93 @ 106, yo!) and I'm second with a paltry 13.36.

I decided to let them know I've come a long way, Baby - and sent this puppy in...

You guys should follow suit and knock some of those 14 and 15 second timeslips out of the box for next month!

i think i'm gonna try and find my old time slips! .... or maybe I should go try and get a better time than 13.6!!

 

P.S. In the e-mail I told them they should do a "piece" on the HIIC. I told them that if they're interested in a group of guys that care about the performance of their car just as much or more than the looks - they should highlight us fellas, right hea! I wonder if I'll get a response?

Scanned this in for Steven (IslandX). I think he should be braggin' to Xhift all day long with this slip on stock turbo/stock boost! He's car #56 of course.

wow. I already knew about it, but seeing it is pretty impressive.

 

Steven's car could put a hurt on some ill-tuned/driven Stage 4 cars. SCARY. I know I'm not going to line up against him until I get a new clutch in my ride!
