wow the dreaded noob question. i think this question has come up at least a million times in this forum. read the noob section and apply what you learn. until then spare yourself from major flameage. oh and there is a search function conveniently located at the top of your screen...use it.

oh and welcome to i-club...

Are you running a stock turbo? How is your boost? IIRC, FMIC is good only if you've got something big pushing the air through there. If you've got the stock TD04, I wouldn't consider that big. You may have been better off w/the stock TMIC. How is your turbo lag compared to when you still had your TMIC on? IMO, a BOV won't help your spool any either.

Hmmmm? I've never had a problem with my bov's (APS 50/50 and HKS) my cousin runs the RFL on his 04 STI with zero problems...???

To each his own...I like my bov's...alot of people do...

Come out to the meets and check out the different sounds...

well, i dont have one. but if i were to get one, i would try to get one that is 50/50. stay away from fully atmospheric since it will blow everything out making a loud noise but not recirculating anything. as for brand, i think it just depends what sound you want.

what FMIC do you have? is the stock BOV in the same place? and does it have the same flange for the BOV?

the reason i ask is b/c if it is not in the right place a 50/50 BOV wouldnt work....also if you have a special welded on flange, it would make it hard to say which model/brand bov to get b/c it might not fit....

my 2c....the txs RFL BOV is da Bessest!!! wOOt!!!! you nOOb!!!!
