Talking Body Kit 06 Sti

Man I want this. Although it's expensive, it still will have the perfect touch to my ride. Didn't expect it to be out so soon. But you know the deal once you get all that stuff put on and painted, everyone will be dinging your doors, etc. Hitting curbs and Parking blocks.

Yeah it's really all up to your preferences.

What are you going for?

I picked engine but I actually would go engine or suspension.

Body kit and rims can wait since you have an STi.

I said body kit. If it was a WRX I'd say engine, but the STI is pretty fast/quick already. The body would allow you to separate it from others at a glance. Also, in my opinion the '06 needs a visual upgrade. But like the others said, it depends on the person. Are you going to be happier knowing it's the only one that looks like it or that you have more power than most others (which you already do.)?

just looked at the prices for the ings body kit for the 06. nicest body kit i've seen for imprezas i think. but it comes out to about 3000 for the bumpers and side skirts and shipping. plus you gotta install and paint it. for that money you could get either wicked engine or suspension mods. Oh also, in Motor Trend's Evo9 MR vs. 06 STI, they were able to get the STI to run 13.0 @ 103. So I'd say go for suspension.

IMO, even the stock STi suspension is adequate for most situations, even racing. I've been desensitized to STis and often take for granted how awesome these cars are straight from the factory. They can already out-accelerate, out-brake, out-corner most cars on the road. With the money you would spend, you can upgrade your sway bars/end links, then put the rest towards a nice kit and/or wheels.

You may not really need engine mods right now unless you can really extract the awesome performance potential from your car. Until then, you may as well look good.

Visually I would go with wheels. Performance-wise I would start with suspension. You'll hear this a lot more: "Power is nothing without control"

that kit is hotness i must agree, but my theory on bodykits..."you buy em to destory em"....i say money to suspension, sti suspension is decent in itself, mayb some bars, braces, etc... plant all that hp to the ground! then again you eat tires this way, but its all about the pull and the touge path
