BMW 'Driving School' April 26th

Just wanted to get the word out to those 'less informed'

Every year the BMW Car Club of Hawaii (whatever they are called) has a Driving school out at Hawaii Raceway.
Normally they have a 2 day course, but this year I guess they were unable to get 2 weekend days in a row, so it's going to be split up.
On Saturday, April 26th, they will have the first event, it will start around 8-ish AM. It'll probably consist of 1/2 day of class instruction/car control clinic, and then 1/2 day of track time.
An "real" instructor will be riding and driving in each participants car, you will definitely learn a lot. If you have not heard about this course, it is worth the cost, a school like this on the mainland would cost much more.

cost is probably going to be $200, you can contact Derrick Rhodes for more information or to sign up, his cell # is 286-3929.

The second event will probably be somewhere in the June-July time frame.

And no, ... you don't have to own a BMW to participate.

I've only got one question. Do I have to own a BMW?

I'm so fricking there.

Hey, let's start a petition that will ensure that we will only invade any foreign countries after the summer is over. Or that all wars will last no more than 7 days.

Anyone with me?

Went there as one of only two Subaru's last year...

It was worth every penny. Believe me, subaru don't have Crap over BMW... Waaaaay better than the subaru track day.

Too bad I don't have turbo yet to go chasing the M3's...

Turbo. I love having the turbo but it doesn't do me much good with my driving skills.

If I had your skills.... Are you interested in selling them?

those of you who are interested, you can either contact Derrick, or PM me and I'll talk to him (I work with him).

There will be a limited number of seats, not sure how many are still open, I will try and find out, but if you know you want to do it, I'd say sign up asap!
