Black 06 - 07 STi at Mitsubishi on Kam Highway...
Anyone know anything about that car? My co-worker is looking to move out of his Civic coupe into something with 4 doors, and he's been inspired by all my talk about how tight the local Subaru community is (as well as the thought of 300 HP). Does anyone know who's car that was and if there are any reasons NOT to buy it? Thanks.

It belonged to an older japanese guy, He was the first owner and it hasn't been modded. All stock. He traded it in for an M3 they had on the lot. The dealership put a high price on it though, there asking $35,000 but price can always be lowered when the talking starts.
If your intrested, ask for "Curt". Tell them "Rob" sent you to make an appointment to see him about the STi. (Rob is a good friend of mine, and he works there). He'll hook you up if your friend is serious. Just keep in mind, car sales are SLOW, so im sure there willing to lower the price to accommodate your friend.

no offense but i can sell you a brand new 08 STI for that price. Thers is a 06. my friend went down there and they told him that this car went for 40k + brand new and that this is an 06 and the last year the sti was made in that body style (
07 was the last year and the went for 34k ish brand new) they were asking 41k at one point.

Man, stealerships do anything to try to convince people to pay thousands more for a car nowdays.
The only reputable dealers I've ever worked with were Servco(Lexus/Toyota and before with Schuman Subaru) and MB of Honolulu. Rest were just sleezy.

come by we got some deals for past & current suby owners.(also referrals) we have a loyalty program going right now and some crazy gas cards with a new sti purchase. but remember you still have tax, reg and doc fee's tho.

if your friend said it was only made in 06-07 he is right about that style for the pig nose front. but the guy i'm talking about told my friend that it was only made in 06. not 07

****, while I love my 09FXT I'm wishing you would have pushed me more on trying to pick up an 08 STI. The more I see them the more I love them!
Maybe I'll be able to afford an 09 WRX when they come out and let the wifey drive the FXT.
