Bilstein PSS9

Anyone running 'em on their Suby? I've always loved Bilstein's stuff, and I was pretty stoked to see that they offer their PSS9 setup for the Impreza / WRX.

I've heard nothing but great things about that setup.

Same here, Sneezer - but it was on Porsche 911s. I think it should translate over (eech - unintentional bad pun) to the Suby pretty well, but then again, I'm not 100% sure. I think it was $1600 for the set. Seperate bound / rebound adjustments too. I just learned how to color inbetween the lines so that might be a little more than my brain can handle.

I'm also on the subaruforester.org forums and those who have ventured off w/these setups are raving about them. I figure that Bilstein is a reputable company and have offered factory setups for Toyota's TRD edition trucks so I can expect that a lot of R&D went into developing their suspension setups.

Well that's good news. I might have to save up for 'em... right after a sneaky engine with red bits all over it, that is. And an air to water intercooler so I can keep my flat hood. Shhh! No tell nobody.

sorry yo bilstein is a hella good company but the cheapest ive found is 2k... i have a problem with the features for price
1) single height adjustment (the lower you go the shorter the shock travel
2)uses your stock rubber spring hat,, so you get flex with no camber adjstment

for that $$$ i would go with cusco 02r,zeal or something with aleast pillow ball mounts, camber adjustment and seperate height adjustment just my $.02

Exclamation Bilstien Is The Bomb!

Drive the Spec B ~ then you will understand. Firm but comfortable with 18's? You bet. I have had a half dozen cars on Blistien's and Koni's. Always preffered the Bilstien's (gas is extra great on the struts).

Let's all HOPE they start offering coil overs and springs/strut combos for the entire Subaru line. We would truly be blessed and will have stepped up to the big leagues!

i never said they wernt the bomb..... i guess it depends on what you want the setup for..
for everyday driving the bilsteins would be great but for a track day or autox ill take a set of cuscos with camber adjustment anyday

I hear that the Bilstein setup is a good one for daily driven cars.

Stiff but not too harsh.
