are you still on your stock battery?

whats an estimated life.. like about 5 years?

mine died today and it hasnt even been 2 years yet!!

 

well my battery went dead it was only 1 year.... but my didn't start it or drive it for dang dong two months, so the battery went dead.. I think i forgot to take off my amplifer wire and fuse to the battery. But she didn't know how to start it up. or even drive it.

She had to get someone at work. I was about to call one of iclubs to help me out and drive it once a month,

I know i have to get a new battery when i get back in may for leave... car is still on warranty..

 

My stock battery was doodoo, I think it lasted me about a year and a half

 

yup mine was about 1 1/2 years...

 

Generally, as far as stock batteries go based on my experiences with them, two years or so is about right. I've switched to an Optima Red Top after three with my STi.

stock about year and a half..damm thing died on me on the day i decided to dig out from work early..lol..darn

 

2 + year, battery almost died on me, switch to Red Top, better cranking!!!

 

2 years... died on me at Alas... Tiare is the witness. Switch to Red Top +50 hp baby.

 

My stock battery died 2 days ago, on new years eve .......But I went to the NEX before it closed and bought a Red top Love it!! Looks and feels much better....

 

I remember calling Greg (Gdogg) up and asking about this...I bought the car from him at Kaneohe Subaru...I couldn't believe the battery would die after only 1 year use...I believe it was the greater drain/charge after I put in my DVD/multimedia system...the battery didn't last long at all...

I purchased the Optima Redtop...and so far, it has worked awesome...highly recommended...going on 3yrs now...
