I think I might try those Hankook Ventus RS2. They're a max performance tire and i can get it for 113/tire. I've had Kumho MX's on my RX7 and loved them on track days. I wanna try something different, plus Kumho's are gettin up in price nowadays. I'll let u guys know how it goes. There's a driving school coming up at Putnam Park in Indiana, and another at Mid-Ohio. Hopefully these tires hold up good there. I need to get one of those timer things u guys use for superlap. Kden thanx for the inputs.

I just got a set of the Azenis 615's. First impression is that they are super sticky. I'm assuming that they are not the best in the rain though. It remains to be determined if they are better than the old azenis in the wet.

yeah.. costco has a good deal on the kdw2's ... but it seems for only specific sizes? they didn't have the size i wanted, and it would be a special order that would cost more than tirerack. although, they will fix tire punctures for free...

Here
are the top max summer performance tires from owners surveys at Tire Rack (top being best, lowest being worst). Personally, I feel most of the time you get what you pay for.
