good question, i'd kinda like to know too. Rollins as a SWAT operator is a damn good fit.

Loved the first one, didn't have high hopes for the second one - but it was GREAT!

I've seen 3 great movies in a row, for me that's some kind of record!

Here's my favorite movies of 2003:

LOVED:
1. Matrix Reloaded
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. T3
4. Bad Boys 2
5. The Recruit
6. Tears of the Sun
7. X-men 2
8. The Italian Job

HATED:
1. Finding Nemo
2. The Hulk
3. Biker Boyz
4. Old School

Waiting for:
1. American Pie 3 - American Wedding
2. SWAT
3. Desperado 2: Once Upon a Time in Mexico
4. Underworld
5. Kill Bill
6. LOTR 3 (Rise of the King)
7. Matrix 3

Favorite movie I saw this year that came out in the 90's:
*GORGEOUS* with Shu Qi

Yeah, I can't believe I didn't like it either. I *LOVE* college/dumb movies - and everybody raved about Old School. I thought it was an utter train wreck with so many loose ends it wasn't worth watching through to the end.

I *LOVED* Super Troopers though. Van Wilder is one of my favorites. I own The Blues Brothers, Animal House, Real Genius, etc. all on DVD.

I never analyzed exactly what it was about Old School that I didn't like except for the fact that it was scattered/schizophrenic and didn't follow through with any of it's gags.

Oh well.
