Question Auto Insurance recommendations?

Hey ya lovely HIIC'ers, in an addendum to my last post about rustproofing, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good, cheap insurance. I'm currently w/ AAA and when I called in and asked about transferring my policy to HI, they really felt like taking me the cleaners

So it looks like I'll be ditching their greedy asses pretty soon haha. Anyone have any recommendations for good, cheap auto insurance? Mahalo!

Thanks bud, I've heard Progressive and Geico have a pretty big presence in HI. Guess I'll have to look into getting a quote from them haha.

I've been with State Farm for years. One of the cheapest rates but best service.

Geico is the largest insurance provider in Hawaii.

+1 for State Farm. Both of our cars, my house, and life insurance is with SF. When I shopped around, they actually had the best rates and they cover after market parts.

Liberty Mutual have always been quite competetive with my insurance rates currently, but not good enough.

Thank you for making this tread, Most of you know that my rates went through the roof starting this July 08. I'm going to give state farm a call after the 3 day weekend. I was thinking progressive, but I've heard to many stories about how you get screwed when it comes to clames. Price is a big factor in deciding what company to go with, but service is very important too...

AIG Hawaii was who I went with while there.

Best rate for the ones I looked at and they gave good service.

Plus, they support the community.
