Thanks greg!
How did you mount it in your car? Strap a tripod in or something? I wanted to do that when I went as well and for 1/4 mile so I could see afterwards how I shifted.

Sweet, nice job. Looks damn professional. Was going to try and work something up like that myself, but never occured to me to use the headrest. Hah. Very nice.

For anyone who wants to see the AutoX video i made. It's ~50MB and hosted off my home computer, so it's a slow download. if anyone has some bandwidth they want to host it on, that would be cool!!

enjoy! and please give me constructive critism for my next vid.

Josh
Dammit Josh...BEFORE I look at the video I'd like to say that the past videos that I've seen from you have been very good quality. What camera are you using? I know Sony but what model? How are you editing the video? Adobe Premiere?

Jon

checking out the video I'll let you know what I think!

and yeah, adobe premiere
I bought the new Sony with Bluetooth wireless networking, what a mistake. The camera is nice, but damn was it expensive. Ugh. Need a firewire to dump video as well. I havent used Premier, but use a mishmash of other programs. Did you try making a vid with only the Subies in it to see if it would be smaller? I hate editing since it adds so much to the video size...

Yeah you ought to write that up and sell the plans for $10 on the net. =) Friend did something like that and made some decent money.

If I can stand the Sparco bar I am going to build a mount on that, but yours is just too perfect. Perfect height to get over your head and see dash and out window. Nice job...

Agreed. Want to sell that thing before you leave and make yourself another when you get to AZ?
