battery wire isn't 0 gauge. Its more like 8 gauge.

I had to make a battery cable dpr my reverse terminal optima battery and i ised 8 gauge wire. It works great

 

mine is 0 guage O_O. i got a 1500watt amp. i have a 0 guage wire going to the battery. i took it out of my old car but i think i gotta buy a whole new wire cause its not long enough. one store said its like 10 dollars a foot. anyone know of a cheaper place??

 

^^gotta pay to play son....there's a car audio place by pearlridge that sells it but not sure how much. could also try circuit city, they might have some. otherwise ebay?

 

i might have read this wrong but is the OP trying to use an audio cable of 0 gauge to replace the wire or is this replacement for use with your aidip system?

 

Try Stereo Express (I think that's the name) I believe they have lightning audio cable at that size. It's kinda a little past Pearlridge on the other side of the street. Right next to Mitsubishi.

I got 1/o guage welding wire, similar stuff. I worked good for my sounds in my truck. I think i got like 50 feet. Make me a offer and take it all. And Im willing to low ball this.
