Can the Subaru Select Monitor raise my idle rpm? I need to bump it up 50rpm or so for an experiment... Can you help?

No- unfortunately the scanner is a read only interface, unless
its recal cartridge, but even that we cant adjust the idle.

Weird... The FSM says to not try and adjust the idle any other way than using the Subaru Select Monitor. Damned technical writers.

Any way you can think of upping the idle just a hair?

he could be right too (tech writers), but the only cartridge we have is the diagnostics read only (with actuators test mode) type. I dont see any idle adjustment on its special functions though I'll double check anyway-
