That's close to the wrx 5sp trany, but we can go faster then 158mph if you got the power to do it.

Yeah, from 4000 - 6000 or so, it's just before lift occurs... at that point it's just a 1zzfe (in fact, from what I see, the power of the 1zz and 2zz are the same until lift hits ) Once you hit 6000 lift kicks in and things get better. I'm trying to find out if there's a way to change the lift point to maybe 5000 or 5500 at latest, I think that would smooth out the torque and make the transition much smoother too.

Yeah, but the rpm is almost 2000 rpm more than what you are running currently. Imagine how far you could hold first coming out the gate? Id also like to see the a/f during that pull.

A/F is probably pretty rich... the dyno was from a stock celica ( their 8 great rides issues ) It would be fun though to wind out the motor to 8400 hopefully it'll allow me to drop a few hundreths or maybe even tenths off my overall times. Too bad it couldn't be as smooth up top like the last rx8 I drove.

Hey vern, or bren, I just got the new sport compact car mag, it has editor jay chen tweaking on the same kind of gear ratio cancer that i've been trying out... His attention is more for roadracing rather than auto-x so he's going for the super long 1st gear and 2nd gear, but I love the dyno/speed/gear graph he posted up...
