Hey Jon,
I know your car is A/T also. Did you install a lighten pulley? If so, any problem? I did so many researchs but I got so many different responses to this mod. Some say it's a mod for A/T, some say A/T engine doesn't like the lighten pulley... blah, blah, blah. I just want to know from someone w/ a heavy mod A/T like yours.
Chuckie out.

Don't worry NOTHING is wrong with an auto!
back to your question...
I have tried a lightened pulley on my car... and I must say that the result is VERY BAD!
First off Manual cars, you can put the trans in 5th (to lock the engine) and use a breaker bar to take off the crank pulley. 4EAT on the other hand is MUCH MUCH MUCH more involved than that... You'll need to drain the radiator and remove it. Also you'll have to remove the fans attached to the back of the radiator. You'll need an impact gun to take off the crank pulley and to lock it back on to the engine. All together it's about a 2+ hour job and you WILL NOT benefit from it at all. In addition to that the impact gun has got to be big enough to supply at least 180ft lbs and that will cause you to
damage your fins for your air conditioning core.
When I put it on I noticed that when I pushed the gas there was absolutely NO POWER at all!!!! The thing with this crank pulley on the 4EAT that it will throw off the harmonious balance of the entire engine...etc.
to sum it all up I would say DO NOT get it since you'll be wasting your money.
