attempted car theft
last night my some a$$es tried to steal my car. my alarm went off twice and me and my neighbors went out to take a look. when we were walking back to our units, we saw a guy walk out from behind some bushes and get into a 93+ 240sx. i wasn't able to get the plates of the car.
warning to you if you're on the boards. not many people have an 05 sti and almost everyone knows my car. my neighbors have been warned about the attempted theft including the resident manager and the 2 cops that live in my complex.
i'm just pissed that people have to steal cars that they can't afford. get a job, get a life and leave me alone.

i just realized that my car has lots of protection. you can break in, but it won't go anywhere. starter kill, autolok (on clutch), and immobilizer key. but it still sucks that thiefs are still stupid enough to try and will probably f**k up my car in the process.

wow dude that sucks. for sheer pleasure of damaging the thiefs ears i installed a 130 db siren under my dash. i might install another. that way i'll have one under hood(along with my horn) and 2 inside the car. i'm like if they wanna steal my car they gotta earn it. i might actually install them cameras like i been sayin'
k maybe not.
that sucks dude. main thing that those guys weren't hurt in the process... 'cuz dear Lord if you caught em who knows!
oh, and your cars okay too i hope.

ugh, sad to see people are trying to steal Subaru's now.. I'm sure since these cars have so much valuable parts, and are still new, people are trying to step up from what .. Honda's ? Makes me feel sick to think these bastards are trying.
Hopefully, it won't get as bad as honda's but i'm sure eventually they may get familiar with the ins and outs of subarus.
Just curious WRXed, but where did this happen? Were you parked on a street? What area?
Back when I used to work at Aiea Shell I noticed many, many crackheads. Some group of guys also came in with a car with f*cked up steering wheel, ignition lock was gone. The guy wanted $5 gas, hotwired it to start the car. I did overhear them "oh brah, tomorrow I get da flatbed, we go grab one toyota". wtf.? Another guy wanted to see my engine bay. I told him its bone stock, nothing to see. He talked about working for eurosport, something about featuring my car, etc.. It was mostly jibberish I couldn't understand. My co-worker told me the guy was a regular crackhead that came with different cars all the time. LOL. Once he came in with a red honda civic, couldn't handle the 5 speed. Burned the clutch, killed the engine.. and again with a F-150 Lighting ... and again with a Jeep ... and again with a Hyundai Elantra with 19" chrome rims ... and again with another truck ... another car .. etc.
Funny though, not much I could do about the situation besides think to myself, wth is going on here?
