It kind of sucks, but the main thing is no one was hurt....

right above the driver's side door is kinked in and the door is having a hard time opening...wonder if it'll affect the structural rigidity of the car?

I've seen cars FLATTENED that way... A good shop will find a way to fix it right, be sure of that.

the only place that worries me is right above the driver side door...it's kinked in a lot more than what it looks like in the pic....I just hope it didn't damage the the supports on the shell

I was T-boned in big *** Suburban last year, and the claims guy totaled the vehicle due to a little nick in the frame.....

Damn Mike, sorry to hear what happened. I know, on my way to work this morning, seen a couple trees down in the middle of the road. So is the Waikele Association taking care if it, or is it going through your personal auto insurance? Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

A little salty as the insurance company says they don't have estimators open till Friday....

my resident manager said to call the Association rep, but I guess she didn't go in today....he said that the association's insurance is suppossed to cover the damages...so I'm not too sure how it'll be handled as my insurance said they would also handle it

bodyshop guys: will the roof damge just be bondo'd or will the entire section have to replaced <not too sure how it will happen as it's part of the shell> or will it be pulled????

God Bless everyone 4 their safety!!

Wow Mike, I almost encountered the same situation as you..Theres this big old tree in front of my Parents house and it fell less than 5 feet away from my ride but funny thing was my impreza was covered in debris..At least you didnt get hurt thanks to those 60 mph winds..Glad to hear you are okay..(Do I smell new paint job!!)Hope everyone out there is safe.. Try and drive down Farrington Hwy in Waianae, looks like a tornado hit the city, estimated 15 electrical poles fell over destroying private parties properties..

Laters&PEACE,
walter
