Anyone wanna help with my Timing belt change?
So this is going to be my first Major Maintainence for my SOHC motor. Figure with 155,xxx miles, I might as well do it now before school starts again in August. I've pretty much did as much research as I can about it, kind of nervous due to me messing up and bending my valves. I've talked to a few including shaggy and it's not hard/scary as people make it out to be. But if someone whom done it could just shadow me be great. Anyone want to help? Probably next week when all my parts come in. LMK

I was super nervous when I did mines a cpl weeks ago. So I know what u mean. But after it's all said and done it's not hard at all. Actually it was pretty easy. Now doing a DOHC is another story but our SOHC is simple. Remember there will be compression fighting u when u do the 2 turns to make sure all the tick markers line up. Depending on when u do it I should be able to stop by. Just depends on work and if my wife gives birth.

I'll help you out if I am not to busy swapping my own parts out. I am changing motor mounts, headers, uppipe, lateral links and cutting bumper to clear my front mount.
