Yeah, a heat gun works. I used a cheap wagner model, you just have to be a little careful in heating it up. An oven evenly distributes the heat, while the heat gun will just pile on the heat in one spot if you don't keep it moving.

Also, the trim piece inside the light is held on at one point with a small philips screw, so be careful and don't get too excited when pulling it apart. One of mine .. I forget if it is the left side or the right side, is broken at that point because I pulled it apart a little quick, the second time around (put it back to stock because of warrenty)

I've done mine a & 1 friends so far. I did the oven method, It's really not bad! pretty easy & strait forward once you've done one.

Will.

I did the oven method too - worked really really well. Heat guns can be a little tricky - I'm sure more than a few people have almost melted their headlights using them

shuddup!

Yeah its easy. 20 mins in the baker and off they come. Just be careful about the goo, dont touch it at all or get it on the silver.

Before and after here:

I had a step by step, but the media card screwed up. Pretty easy using the steps from I think www.scoobymods.com for the 04 wrx lights, `cept the hid lights cost a whole lot more when you screw up.

I did the mod...it's really easy. It just takes a little bit of ***** and a little effort.
