Yeah,
gqzboy. Dropped serious money in his car. Had a VF23 when he was here. And a huge APS FMIC. His friend did the FMIC install and kind of cut the bumper skin wrong. I don't think he was worried about being fast, more show.

Seemed to me
that although he had performance mods, he was more into the street import "show" scene. Definately a nice looking car.

I don't begrudge folks who are more into shows and impressing with the looks of the car. It's just not me.
He did tell me that he's just gotten tuned by Bill at I-Speed, to the tune of 310whp.
He's done a couple of things I am really interested in. Flaring front and back means he's probably the only WRX wagon on the planet who's done it...except that piece of crap I posted a long time ago.

I don't know what happened to him, Army-wise, but as for the track, one night after a cruise we went down to the track and I beat him in the 1/4 mile. That was when he had the FMIC, and the VF-23. No tuning, though. I ran a 13-something, and I believe he was in the high 14's or low 15's. He always had the sweetest looking wagon. Mine is a piece of dog-crap compared to his, but mine has some serious abuse to talk about.
