anyone play poker?
who here plays poker with a group of friends or co-workers?
I have recently been sucked into a vortex of compulsive gambling....
We play texas-hold em' like the one you see on TV .... the world poker tour championship....
only we don't play no limit....the max bet is $10 but it can still get crazy when people start raising and whatnot...
just wondering if anyone else is addicted to this game?

We play No Limit, the cadillac of poker, usually Wednesdays and Fridays. $10 limit sounds pretty steep. We only play $5 and $10 buy-ins.
We're always looking for new people to play with. Just post up if you're interested, you too Dave. Your money's always good with us.

hahaha.... that is hilarious.... I'm down to play....
actually I played with my roommates tonight and lost my a$$, well I was up for awhile and then this crap happened:
i had a queen and a 4 spade....... flop comes out.... showing all spades...so I thought I had it in the bag.... I threw in max all times and got raised on...and kept on rasing like a dumbass.....
then two non-spade cards come out...and I thought the other guy had one spade...either ace or king and was chasing the 4th spade on the flop....
well we raised each other not backing down.....I thought he was bluffing or was in "too deep"
turns out he had a king spade and another low one which barely beat me..... wow I lost like $100+ on that one hand
so I'm pretty pissed off right now.......

That's too rich for my blood. With us, on a good night you can win $75, but you won't lose more than $30. I just like holding the heavy clay chips.
