Probably o2 sensor. That's the code I keep getting. Shaggy has a scanner.

I can disable the code for you, as well as pull it.
Are you running an AP?

so the CEL came on then started blinking or did it just start to blink? If you're by a Checkers you can ask them to read the CEL on your ECU and then you post the codes here... that'll give a better understanding of what's happening with your car.

thanks for everyones input!

i got sick of looking at it so i disconnected the battery to clear it for now.

the CEL came on and stayed on along with the cc light flashing. i'm not running an AP or open source. i've been looking into open source for a while now but not really in a rush to do anything since the car is just for the weekends.

thanks again!

Sounds like 02 sensor. Had the same exact problem. I used my AP to fix mine.

I do that too. My cel usually don't come on for couple weeks or so. I hate it, damn thing locks me out of cruise control and si-drive.

Do you think there is an underlying problem if you keep getting those CELs?

I mean, disabling the battery to clear the CEL is one thing, but doing it every time it flashes is another.

Jus sayin'.

+1.

It will be a painful experience when something breaks, and your wallet will be a ton lighter if you choose to repair the damage.

Nah nothing serious. I've actually only disabled the battery twice. I've used the scanner to clear the code most of the time. Always shows up as the o2 sensor. I'm not worried about it at all.

when my car did this it was because my car boost creeped into about 24psi (22psi target boost). when this happened I did a 5th gear pull at about 45mph on a cool hawaiian morning (less than 70 degrees). since your tbe is catless you more likely to boost creep then if you were to have a high flow or stocker.

I can't remember the code off the top of my head but when I pulled it, it was in reference to over boosting.
