damn, it is the subaru that Latka posted.... i think its hideous, especially the grill..... the site works now, but it loads very slow on my computer. the rear end of the sedan version doesnt look to bad tho.

You know... when the bug eye imprezas first were shown a long time ago after the GC8, this was the exact same response that almost everyone had. Yet today you see more of those cars than anything else on the road in terms of imprezas. I bet the same thing applies here.

I'd say the hatchback design is a little more of a change than from the GC era to the design after that. To each his own though!

I'll be upfront and say I hate hatches, period. I find the new WRX even more hideous than the '06 was (personal opinion - no offense intended). There is an AWD version of the Mazdaspeed 6 already, Subaru didn't need to make another one. I'm blaming the French for this! Well, Citroen and Sebastien Loeb anyway...
In all seriousness, I don't think anyone rallys a 5 door hatch (afaik they are all 3-door). I'm guessing that the STI will be a shorter 3-door. On the other hand, I'm sure the Subaru engineers know better than I do, and maybe this body/chassis is just dandy. Doesn't mean I'll buy one though.
