the people subscribed to the scca email stuff got an email about it. It is for JN people. We got an invitation to 'work' the track. They are supposed to have exotics out there racing, Lambo, Lotus, Ferrari, C5's, etc. (Audi was included on their list )

I heard nothing about just anyone being able to have track time, It was by invitation only.
There are going to be some professional drivers out there to ride with thte drivers.

.... oh anyway, here is the email!!

Subject: JN Car Clinic Mailout

------------------------------------
JN Car Clinic
Date = Friday Dec 6 and Sat Dec 7
Time = 830am till 345pm both days

The JN car dealerships is putting together two days of car clinics
for owners of all their exotic cars - Lamborghini, Ferrari, Corvette C5, Audi, Lotus Elise & Twin Turbo, etc. Attendance is by invitation only and owners (and workers) will be "entertained" by a Lamborghini test driver, a development driver from GM, a factory driver from Audi, and hopefully a Ferrari driver.

Mornings will consist of 2 each slalom and threshold braking sessions on both ends of the HIRS track chaired by Bill Clutter (ex Skip Barber school) and Steve Timson, both Formula Ford drivers/owners.

Afternoons will consist of short course lapping sessions with each owner being co-piloted by a professional driver. Workers are critical for this portion of the day.

Expectations are for 50-75 different drivers/cars each day and we are looking for 6 workers for Fri and Sat. This is a paid $$$ event with $60 on Friday and $50 on Saturday for the first 6 workers to sign up each day. Breakfast and Lunch is lavishly catered by Kahala Caterers on both days. Drinks and refreshments will be provided for on-track workers during the sessions. Workers and drivers with track experience via SOLO 2, SOLO 1, Lapping or wheel-to-wheel events are invited to call me to sign up. JN expects this to be well attended and exciting for all that come. Total $110 if you can work both days.

This is a JN sponsored event and as such will be covered by their
insurance policy. This is not a SCCA event.

Please call or email me to make work reservations.

Gerald Luke
SCCA Divisional Flag Chief
work 591-2791 MF 9am-5pm
home 737-0073 eves after 7pm approx.

Remember ... this is a first-com first-serve paid work basis. Don't
miss this opportunity to see factory professional drivers in fine cars on our track along with their proud owners!!!

ps. I'll be in Kauai Mon-Thurs, give me a call Friday or on the
weekend, or email me.

Wow. They should make this a spectator event and charge entry. I'd lay out 10 bucks to see some Ferraris and Lambos tangle it up on our lil' track.
