My ability has gone down so much from not using it at all, and it's hurting me in class now. Instead of trying to strike up a conversation with completely random strangers I have nothing in common with, I figured if I ask here I'd at least have something to talk about. Anybody?

if u want to impress koreans, perhaps you can talk about korean actors in korea like rain and that korean girl in lost. koreans have a lot of pride for their country in a way.
you can also talk about the new hyundai genesis, korean archery, I don't know.

no, I'm here on Oahu (until November anyway). I'm not trying to impress anybody, I'm just trying to get back the ability I used to have. I just need somebody to speak with so I can improve. I already have a library of movies/shows and listen to the music, but it helps me a lot more if I speak it. I'm not unfamiliar with the culture or country either, I used to live there. It's just been a long time since I've used any of it...

Dang, didnt know you used to speak Korean Alexie... I would rap with you but still learning from my Grandma!! What about your Japanese?? You can rap with Ryan/ Choku Dori in Japanese!! Im pretty sure he's fluent in Japanese!!

And I've been using Japanese so much lately that it's seriously messing with my Korean. So I'm trying to avoid using/being exposed to Japanese for now...
