Anybody else looking for a baby seat?

Just posting this up for all you soon to be parents or if you guys know anybody who's expecting. Amazon has some good deals on Recaro baby seats right now. In fact, Leila and I just ordered one this past weekend. Best price I've seen so far, and free shipping to Hawaii FTW! Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Recaro-Signo-C...7036145&sr=1-1. The seat normally sells at most stores in Hawaii for around $279. Hope this helps...

True story. I wanted one too, but was like....meh, I can't justify spending the $$$ just because it says Recaro on it. I knew I could find a comparable one for like half the price. But, when I seen the price drop, I told my wife to order me one immediately!

Hey Ryan, tell your GF that this is the best investment for your baby. This one can seat kids from like 5lbs to 70lbs. It starts as an infant car seat and then you can turn it around and use it as a toddler booster seat.

I own 2 recaro youth sports seats and I paid 250 each locally. all I can say is these are the best seats ever and hold more weight than more expensive "name brand" baby seats. all of my kids LOVE these seats and never have a problem leaning forward and causing strain to their necks when sleeping in the seat. you cannot put a dollar amount on safety especially for your children. I plan on purchasing another youth sport ASAP for my daughter. The Signo seat you posted though is a great seat for infants. There are other seats for the age of your new addition that would suit you better than a Recaro at the moment. I'd buy the Youth Sports after they can sit up straight and meet the weight limit for it.

If the price did drop though... congrats!

+1 on safety. I think we bought it on Sunday for $158 and then last night I noticed the price dropped to $152. Good deals. Yeah, this seat will last me for a while, since the weight limit goes up to 70lbs.

I hope whatever car you're putting it in has more room than a wrx wagon. I have a Signo and a Young Style in the wagon and there's not a whole lot of room to put the baby into the seat. I'll try to post up a pic of the clearance later on.

yup, side by side the youth sports will only allow two in my car right now. I plan on figuring something out or getting a larger car for the 3rd

LOL I told my mom and sister that I'd be getting a recaro just for my car for my niece. If only I had the extra cash I'd buy it for sure. Maybe I'll show my sister this and have her get 2 lol.
